Dot Measure
This is an iPhone App that measures the distance to the red dot displayed on the iPhone screen. And from version 2.0 you can measure height as well!
The app is not designed for accurate measurements or to replace the use of a tape measure. It is made for entertainment purposes and to make none-important measurements.
However, we have calibrated the app very carefully and the app has received many great reviews from it’s users.
To get the most out of it, you should set the iPhone’s height above the floor, to improve the accuracy of the measurements.

Measure Length view
In this view you measure the distance from your feet to the red spot on the floor.
In this view you measure the distance from where you locked the red line (see screenshot above) up to the blue spot (se screenshot below).
Calibrate view
In this view you set the iPhone’s height over the floor. This is important with respect to accuracy.
